History of the Mt. Pleasant Kennel Club
Our club was formed in 1977 by a group of people in the area who owned, trained, and showed their own dogs. They felt a need in Mt. Pleasant for an educational group based on our canine friends.
The Mt. Pleasant MI Kennel Club was sanctioned by the American Kennel Club in 1984.
Objectives
To further the advancement of all dogs, focusing on purebred dogs.
To protect and advance all dog breeds' interests.
Encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and various trials.
Conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, and assorted trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
Join Us!
MPMKC meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Meetings are held at the Kennel Club building, 7540 S Mission Rd, Mt Pleasant, Mi.
Visitors are welcome!
Meetings may begin earlier if a presentation is scheduled.
No meetings in July, August, or December.
